Nordex Case Hardened and Ground Shafting is used with Bearings such as Nordex “Precision Linear Bearings” in order to obtain highly accurate linear motion. The quality and accuracy of the shaft directly affect the performance of the Bearing. Nordex shafting is manufactured for superior performance in both rotational and combined rotation and linear motion.

Shafting available in both Inch and Metric sizes.
Inch series ¼” to 1” diameter
Metric series 3mm to 25mm diameter

Material:
AISI C -1060 Case Hardness 60-65C
SUJ2 Hardness 60HRC
AISI-440C Cased Hardened 50-55C
